The other day i was in team arenas and there was this monk, not saying name, he was showing everyone his weapons and fissure armor.............. he was first to die and thx to him we died because we then had no monk and we had this build that depended on the monk, why do peopl with better eqipment think they are better in a game that requires skill.....

Well if you spent that much coinage you would want to show it off to. Jus kidding, I have experienced the same thing and skill can only be shown not TALKED about. Anyone talking up their skill, likely is their only fan. Jus say yeah u rock, I am unworthy of your prescense then find another team.

Well, first off, fissure armor isn't "better" equipment, by any means. It's just a way of showing how well you manage money/how rich you are. That said, I do not believe your generalisation is valid even by a majority. I don't consider myself a "better" player at all, as I know there's a significant difference is being adept at pvp (Which I can admit is something I'm not quite at yet) and knowing where to get money in RP.

So maybe a better view of the situation is, why do some people simply think they're better? I'd chalk that up to ego, not equipment. Generally, if someone's going to be egotistical about something, they'll find a way to make it happen. Armor won't make them that way

Well I for one dont think im better being wealthy, I know im better at getting the gear I need, to me it's not about showing it off it's about having the best so you can be the best and help others beat missons and help them out on quests, my gear lets me be a great tank and warrior and help you get where you need to go, with the plat I had I could have gotten fow but I think that it's a waste of money so I wear 15k Knights, and unlike many players being wealthy I go and find stuff I dont need and give it away If anyone wants to do well in both areas in this game you need to be smart or train yourself to grow smart.

There was a time I was broke I had maybe 1 plat or nothing but I learned and got better and now im doing just fine anyone can do it but it's also a choice will I be broke? or will I be rich? and you must be driven so much to do it till it's done

Say my Monk has JC Penny's Armor. (Droks Armor) It is just fine. I dyed it black and everyone "thinks" it is something else all together. Really doesn't matter to me what I have...as long as it defends me.
